DropVera Privacy Policy

Effective October 2, 2026

This policy describes the launch-candidate DropVera mobile application and related support pages operated by DropVera LLC.

Information DropVera processes

Offer screenshot OCR: when you choose an offer screenshot, the current mobile feature performs text recognition on-device to prefill editable offer fields. DropVera does not upload or store the screenshot through this OCR feature.

Optional automatic mileage: DropVera does not request location permission unless you turn on automatic mileage during an active shift. On Android 13 and newer, DropVera also requests notification permission at that time so Android can visibly show when automatic mileage is active. If enabled, DropVera requests precise location and background location so mileage can continue while the app is not on screen. Location samples are processed on the device to maintain a running mileage total. DropVera does not upload or retain a route history through this feature; while tracking is active, the device keeps only the running mileage total and the latest location point needed to continue measuring distance. Tracking stops when you turn it off, end the shift, or sign out.

How the information is used

DropVera uses these data to authenticate accounts, personalize profitability estimates, track shifts and mileage (including optional on-device automatic mileage when you enable it), operate privacy-thresholded community intelligence, prevent abuse, respond to support requests, synchronize subscriptions when enabled, troubleshoot errors, and secure the service. Offer screenshots selected for OCR are processed locally on the device by the current feature.

Community privacy

DropVera does not intentionally publish individual customer profiles. Raw customer/delivery feedback is private to the submitting driver. Shared destination intelligence is limited to shared/public-facing or multi-unit places such as apartment complexes, hotels, businesses, hospitals, campuses, and gated communities. Single-family/private residences are not eligible shared destination profiles.

Community aggregates are withheld until minimum contributor thresholds are met. Do not submit customer names, unit numbers, gate codes, phone numbers, email addresses, order numbers, or other unnecessary personal information in community reports.

Service providers and disclosure

DropVera uses infrastructure and distribution providers needed to operate the service, including Supabase for backend/authentication and Apple/Google for app distribution. RevenueCat infrastructure may be used when paid subscriptions are enabled. DropVera does not sell personal information to advertisers.

Retention and deletion

Account-owned operational data is generally kept while the account is active and is removed or de-identified through the account-deletion process, subject to security, fraud-prevention, legal, and transaction-record obligations. De-identified shared-place directory records and aggregates may remain because they describe shared places rather than an individual account. Support requests may be retained as reasonably needed to resolve the request, prevent abuse, document privacy requests, or meet legal obligations.

You can permanently delete your account inside the app or through the web deletion portal.

Your choices

Automatic mileage is optional; you can keep entering mileage manually and never grant location permission. If you enable automatic mileage, you can turn it off at any time from the active-shift screen. Community contribution is also optional. You can avoid entering optional notes, and you should omit information that is not needed for delivery intelligence. Use the support form for privacy questions or requests.
